TAS — Telehealth consultations

Consultation coordination
in Hobart

Consultation coordination and administrative support for individuals across Hobart and Tasmania exploring practitioner-guided consultation pathways.

We do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, prescribing services, or supply medicines to the public. Independent independent, registered healthcare practitioners assess individual circumstances and determine whether any pathway is appropriate.

How this works in TAS

Tasmania is served entirely by telehealth, which removes the need to travel interstate for an appointment. Appointments are coordinated in AEST/AEDT.

Not all individuals will be suitable candidates for prescription-only therapies, and consultation does not guarantee prescription, treatment recommendation, or ongoing eligibility.

Understanding the consultation process

Depending on individual circumstances, the process may involve:

  1. 01Initial enquiry and general program information
  2. 02Consultation with an independent independent, registered healthcare practitioner
  3. 03Independent clinical assessment
  4. 04Consideration of available options where the practitioner considers it appropriate
  5. 05Prescription only where considered appropriate by the practitioner
  6. 06Post-consultation administrative coordination
  7. 07Ongoing administrative coordination and support

Independent practitioners may determine that no prescription or treatment recommendation is appropriate.

This website provides general information only and is not medical advice, a recommendation, or an offer to supply any therapeutic good. Any prescription-only therapy is assessed and prescribed solely by an independent registered healthcare practitioner, and dispensed by a licensed pharmacy. Suitability, benefits and risks vary between individuals and cannot be guaranteed.

A note on this content

Some therapies discussed elsewhere on this website are prescription-only medicines in Australia and in most cases are not listed on the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods (ARTG), meaning they have not been evaluated by the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) for safety, quality, or effectiveness. Where a legitimate pathway exists, it involves an individual prescription from an independent, registered healthcare practitioner and preparation through a licensed Australian compounding pharmacy — not retail or direct purchase.
